Higher corrections of the Ilkovich equation

چکیده
A short-time asymptotic analysis is performed to establish corrections of the Ilkovich equation, which describes polarographic response a dropping mercury electrode. The convective diffusion equation governing limited reactant flux for small drop times solved by regular perturbation based on powers sixth root time. This produces framework within higher terms can be derived systematically. As well as reproducing Ilkovich’s original formula and verifying Newman’s correction Koutecky’s first-order term, we calculate second-order term first calculation compared Newman–Levich procedure tested against numerical simulations with finite-element software.

The Effect of Higher Order Corrections to the BFKL Equation on the Perturbative Pomeron
